After waiting a YEAR, with a previous attorney who did nothing with my case AND missed my pretrial diversion date so I couldn’t go that route, I hired Jacob and Taryn. Not only did they make me feel confident in my case again - a case in which I did not commit any type of crime - they got the judge to count the year I had waited as my parole served, and the case was dismissed once I completed 20 service hours. We even discussed what it would cost to get my record expunged in the future. As a 25 year old with a college degree and their whole life ahead of them, this is quite literally a life saving effort they made happen for me. Sarah Durham is also an amazing attorney and handled the expungment hearing. Yes, even when charges are dismissed, the arrests still show on your criminal history. So remember that if you're arrested, for any offense, the arrest show forever, unless they're expunged or sealed. I can't express how proud I am to have had Blizzard and Zimmerman on my side.
