Kenneth Padowitz, P.A.

The day I met Ken Padowitz I handed him a preliminary report from a Audio Forensic Specialist that indicated abnormalities in the audio evidence the state had. I explained to Ken that I heard two different versions of this audio. I didn’t know the terminology then, but I told him exculpatory evidence had been removed. Ken refused to speak to the forensic specialist, or allow him to do a final forensic report. Two years, and multiple requests both verbally and via email were ignored. While constantly reminding me of the jeopardy I was in, and that a felony conviction with a one year probation was possible; he repeatedly tried to convince me that I was “mistaken” about the audio evidence. I was forced to hire another attorney to get the audio analyzed and to hire a private investigator which Ken also refused to do. I went ahead and hired the forensic expert that wrote the preliminary report I gave Ken. Ken disappeared. He didn’t attend a conference call to discuss the forensic report. Co council said he wasn’t returning calls. He didn’t return my calls or respond to my emails. Fast forward, without Ken, a motion was filed and a judge threw out the recorded evidence after the same forensic expert that Ken ignored, demonstrated that 15 seconds of conversation were missing and portions of remaining conversations were now blank. The judge then dismissed the felony charge. He then gave me a withheld of adjudication on the misdemeanor. No jail, no probation, and a sealed record. If I did not hire additional attorneys to do Ken Padowitz job, there would have been no Forensic report, and I would have eventually been forced to accept a plea deal which would have resulted in a felony conviction.
