I hired these lawyers and gave them all my information and court date. They didn't show up. I had to call them because I received a letter from the municipal court that nobody showed up and had 10 days to appeal the decision, which they did. The second mistake they made was they tried to send me to the wrong courthouse, Frank Crowley Courts Building, when my trial was in the Municipal Court. Then a lawyer from there called me and said that the court tried to negotiate with me and dismiss one ticket and pay for the other one and I wouldn't have to go to trial if I accepted, and he kept insisting that my trial was on Friday 08/09 when it was actually on Thursday 08/08. I would've missed my trial if I listened to him. Then, they insisted on me accepting the courts offer, but I insisted and made them go to trial because that's why I hired them, to dismiss both my tickets and expunge from my record, which they had initially agreed to. Now I showed up to court and got my two tickets dismissed which I was innocent of from the beginning. A few days later they sent me an email, saying that if someone were to dig my record they would still show up unless they were expunged. So I called the Lawyer Megan and she said I had to pay around $800 more to have that expunction, which I had initially already paid and hired them for, I just can't believe I went through all this.
