This is one amazing lawyer! When seeking a lawyer I called Toms office not even 15 minutes later he called me back directly! He’s very knowledgeable and honest! He will not take your money unless he believes he can help you! If he says he can take his word for it. He got my case expunged and dismissed! I only attended one court date Tom took care of the rest! I spoke to a couple of lawyers but after speaking with Tom I knew I was choosing the right lawyer! Trust me when I tell you this is a lawyer who will not just take your money and lie to you and run you through the ringer! I am writing this so that my experience with Tom can be known. I was in a very difficult legal situation. I was looking at my 4th D.U.I. This was a very difficult experience for myself and loved one's . I potentially was looking at serious jail time as well as my license possibly being revoked for life. I am in my 40's, my life is very well put together, great job, place to live, great family and friends and my health. The possible consequences of my actions would have drastically changed my life and the lives around me. My case was very difficult as this case involved myself being arrested for a D.U.I in Rhode Island but my driver's license is from Florida. Not good to say the least. Again I was facing a 4th D.U.I. as I have 3 in the state of Florida. Here is where Tom comes in. Tom was recommended to me from a family/friend lawyer. Tom came very highly regarded. As a former state prosecutor he defiantly knows how the prosecutors act, think and his great reputation is very obviously known in the courtroom . Tom built a great client/lawyer relationship with me based on trust. There were times in my case when I wasn't so sure if I had the best person representing myself, not only did I have the right person but I had the best lawyer. I had both, Tom the person and the lawyer. My case as noted was extremely difficult, this wasn't the ordinary D.U.I, being it was my 4th and out of state. Tom worked within the legal system and was able to provide me with a hardship license to and from work. I remember the D.A. in the courtroom denying me of this at first. When Tom and I returned I in fact was granted this hardship license . I remember very well that I was told, "It's against my better judgement to grant you this, you should be thanking your lawyer for his competency ". I knew right then that I had the wisest person in the courtroom representing me. Afterwards Tom met my family member outside of the courtroom , she was relieved with the ruling, he was very kind and genuine towards her. Moving forward with Tom's expertise, effort and knowledge I was able to drive to and from work. I still had the D.U.I to contend with and if convicted , well off to jail I would go and life as I know it to be would have drastically altered. Tom once again found the police to have pulled me over without just cause. He and I were prepared to take this to court after my pretrial. We had to wait for the state of Florida to collaborate with the state of Rhode Island. Tom was supportive, constantly working with me and my case during this time. He always stayed in good communication, always did what he said he would do, and made me feel like there was a chance, there was reason to believe that my consequence's of my actions would be minimal . In the end my D.U.I case was dropped by the state of Florida and Rhode Island. I have community service and a alcohol class to attend . Meanwhile I am still able to drive to and from work. Tom is also getting my charges expunged. This is all very doable compared to the other very realistic possible set of circumstances that I could be in. I write about my experience to share with other's . I write this because I want to thank Tom for all he accomplished for myself and family. I think back to the times I had with all the unknowns in my life. One thing I always knew was I had the right, best and trustworthy person by my side through this all. I obviously suggest that you don't make poor choices for yourself and don't have to deal with what I have. If you are reading this you may have. Tom is a very well connected and well respected lawyer, and I could not be happier with his legal services. Before Tom I was sure I would end up in Jail, thanks to him not only did I not serve any Jail time, I only did a year in Drug Court and ended up graduating early with my record expunged and sealed. If you find yourself in a situation where you need help, Tom is the person you want on your side. My boyfriend and I found ourselves in a situation where we needed a lawyer and were not sure where to start as neither of us have ever been in trouble. I remembered seeing an ad for AVVO so I decided to look on there. We knew it would be a somewhat easy case, but I am a worry wart so I didnt want to just pick some Joe Schmo. I sorted the website to see who had the highest AVVO rating and the highest reviews and that is how I found Tom Thomasian. I read all of the reviews and everyone seemed to be very pleased with his services and I saw that he offered a free consultation so I figured it wouldnt hurt to just meet with him and see what he thought. I called Tom's office and I expected to just set up an appointment with a secretary, I left my name and number and about 5 minutes later Tom called me himself to set up the appointment. I told him our situation and he seemed confident that he would be able to help us out. A few days later we met him at his office and after meeting with him and going over what he could do for us, I knew he was the right person to hire. Now don't get me wrong, he isnt the cheapest attorney, but you get what you pay for. Do you really want to cut coupons for a lawyer? I dont, I would rather pay good money and feel confident walking into court with someone who I know has our back. Tom was always there to answer any questions we had, whether I called him or sent him a text message. We went to court three times, each time we were there for 10 minutes max. In the end our case was dismissed and we had it expunged. Hopefully I will never have to hire Tom again, but I will always keep his card in my wallet because if anyone ever needs help he is the person I will send them to. If you are looking for a lawyer and you are scared and have no idea what to expect (like I was) he is the best lawyer to have because he will talk you through each step of the process and make sure that you are comfortable with what is going on with your case.
