I signed up for a 15 minute free consultation, and spoke with Javonte Middleton, the firm's expungement paralegal. I couldn't be more pleased with the experience! I had tried to look at the Georgia Code related to my situation myself over and over again, but I was totally confused about what I needed to do. That's because the laws, by their very nature, lacked a lot of the practical context involved in the day-to-day records management practices in Georgia's records systems. Javonte knew, off of the top of his head, impressively detailed information about record codes and practices and answered questions I had that were--to me--almost too complex to put into words. He walked me through a baffling GCIC background check document that I'd been having a lot of trouble understanding-- so many codes and fields and information. He answered me clearly and completely, and was very open open letting me ask questions. I didn't feel rushed nor pressured at any point. I contacted the firm ready to pay them for what I thought I might need, but rather than let me do that, Javonte told me there was a much simpler way I could try to get what I needed and not have to pay either a lawyer or the court: advising me to try that before I paid anyone anything. He gave me such a large, clear amount of information and help in about 15 minutes that at the end of it, I really felt guilty that this had only been a free consultation.
