I hired attorney Joey Turner for a simple expungement case in February of this year. Joey advised me it would take approximately 90 days. Attorney Turner has not only avoided my calls and texts, but he is not responding at all. The following text was sent on April 11.. Hey Ms. Shiela, it’s Joey Turner. I’m sorry to leave you waiting. I had two jury trials that have been going on, and I’ve missed you each time. We should have those record restrictions almost done. Let me check with the DA to see if they’ve signed the paperwork. I’ll give you a call by tomorrow on that. I have not received the services for which I paid for. I have repeatedly tried to reach Mr. Turner and have not gotten any response. This is quite unprofessional and disrespectful.
